Kill Team

A battle report generator where every operative gets a moment

Kill Team games are small enough that you actually remember who did what — Operative Vex holding the ledge, that one clutch shoot action that swung the whole game. Debrief turns your own photos and a couple of lines per turning point into a written dispatch that follows the operatives, not just the score.

Why most reports never happen

Even a tight, memorable Kill Team game rarely gets written up — by the time the killzone is packed away, the specific sequence of who flanked who has already started to blur. Debrief captures it while it's fresh, in the time it takes to jot a few notes.

Where Debrief fits

Roster & datacard apps
  • Build and manage your kill team roster
  • Track operative wounds and equipment live
  • Leave the writing to you afterward
Debrief
  • Starts after the game, from your own photos
  • Writes a turning-point-by-turning-point narrative
  • Adds spoken narration, music, and a shareable video

Debrief doesn't replace a roster app or a rules reference — it picks up once the killzone is cleared and the game needs to become a story someone will actually read.

How it works

  1. 1

Log both kill teams. Players, teams, and the operatives worth naming.

  2. 2

Add a line or two per turning point. What happened, and to whom — plain language, no rules-speak required.

  3. 3

Drop in your photos. Whatever you shot on your phone at the killzone.

  4. 4

File the dispatch. A written report, ready to narrate, export as video, or share by link.

Frequently asked

Does this track kill/injury status or build my kill team roster?
No. Debrief doesn't manage operative datacards or roster-building — it writes the narrative after the game, from the photos you took and what you log happened at each turning point.
Does it work with any Kill Team season or killzone?
Yes. You log your kill teams, operatives, and what happened in plain language, so it works the same regardless of season, killzone terrain set, or mission.
Can it name individual operatives in the report?
Yes — since Kill Team battles are small, the notes you log per turning point can call out specific operatives by name, and the report follows them individually rather than treating each side as one faceless mass.
Is my battle report used to train AI models?
No. Report text goes through Anthropic's API and narration audio through OpenAI's API, and both providers state that API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models by default. See the Privacy Policy for details and provider links.
Do I have to pay to use it?
No. Written reports are free. An optional Patreon pledge unlocks recorded narration, video export, and a higher monthly report allowance.
