Warhammer Age of Sigmar
A battle report generator built from your actual Age of Sigmar game, not an army list
Most Age of Sigmar battle reports never get written — the armies get boxed, the table gets cleared, and the photos of that last-round charge sit in your camera roll. Debrief turns what you already have — the photos you took and a couple of lines per battle round — into a finished, readable dispatch.
Why most reports never happen
Writing one up by hand means remembering how battle round three unfolded hours after it ended, picking through blurry table shots, and starting from a blank page. Most players skip it, even after a game worth remembering.
Where Debrief fits
Army builders & list tools
- Build and check army lists
- Track points and warscroll details
- Leave the writing to you afterward
Debrief
- Starts after the game, from your own photos
- Writes the round-by-round narrative for you
- Adds spoken narration, music, and a shareable video
Debrief doesn't replace your army builder or the app you play from. It picks up once the last model is removed and the game needs to become a story someone will read.
How it works
- 1
Log both sides. Player names, factions, and commanders — the fields follow the way you actually talk about your game.
- 2
Add a line or two per battle round. What happened, and to whom — plain language, no rules-speak required.
- 3
Drop in your photos. Whatever you shot on your phone at the table.
- 4
File the dispatch. A written report, ready to narrate, export as video, or share by link.
Frequently asked
- Is this an army builder or a warscroll tool?
- No. Debrief doesn't build lists, check points, or store warscrolls — it writes the narrative after the game is over, from the photos you took and the notes you log each battle round.
- Does it work with any Age of Sigmar army and battleplan?
- Yes. Debrief doesn't check rules — you log the factions, the battleplan and what happened each battle round in plain language, so it works for any army and any mission you play.
- Can it follow individual heroes and units by name?
- Yes — the notes you log each battle round can call out specific heroes, monsters and units by name, and the report follows them rather than treating each army as one faceless mass.
- Is my battle report used to train AI models?
- No. Report text goes through Anthropic's API and narration audio through OpenAI's API, and both providers state that API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models by default. See the Privacy Policy for details and provider links.
- Do I have to pay to use it?
- No. Written reports are free. An optional Patreon pledge unlocks recorded narration, video export, and a higher monthly report allowance.
